Dave & Karen LaForme have retired from maintaining our website. They have done a great job keeping us informed about tennis club activities. We will miss their work.
Scott Austin
Scott Austin moved to TP in 2013 and started playing tennis in 2014 at age 63. Scott along with many others, took beginners lessons from Lynn Budnick.
Scott bought his first racket, a Babolat from Dick's Sporting Goods that he still enjoys and plays with.
He has always enjoyed watching tennis on the TV. His favorite rivalry was Bjorn Borg vs. John McEnroe. Bjorn played unbelievable tennis !
Scott loves making and keeping good friends while playing tennis. Scott is very grateful and thankful that Rocky Pyle took him to play with his group on Saturdays.
Scott also enjoys music, Pickleball, Golf, Billiards, and traveling.
Scott always has a smile on his face and believes in the old slogan "Peace and Love". All you need is love!
I have played in tennis tournaments with Scott and have always enjoyed his “easy going” personality.
